About Brandon Calloway

Brandon Calloway is a distinguished leader with extensive experience in both the nonprofit and business sectors. As the CEO and Co-Founder of Generating Income For Tomorrow (G.I.F.T.), Brandon is dedicated to closing the racial wealth gap in Kansas City. He is also the founder of Darkmoon Comics and Blerd TV, initiatives aimed at amplifying Black representation in media.

Brandon’s career journey includes leadership roles in the nonprofit and fitness industries, strengthened by his military service as a Nutrition Specialist. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Avila University and earning an Executive MBA from Rockhurst University. His commitment to community service is evident through his volunteer work on nonprofit boards, including reStart Inc., WeCode KC, and Athvantage, where he served as fundraising committee chair. He also contributes to MORE2 and Juneteenth-KC, demonstrating a deep dedication to civil rights and community development.

Brandon’s achievements have earned him widespread recognition, including being named a 2022 Next Gen Leader by the Kansas City Business Journal and receiving the 2022 Pinnacle Prize Award. Under his leadership, G.I.F.T. was honored with the 2024 Nonprofit Connect Award for Excellence in Impact. Brandon is also a recipient of two Army Achievement Medals for academic excellence.
