Mission-Driven Leadership: As the Founder and CEO of Kansas City G.I.F.T., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, I'm dedicated to bridging the racial wealth gap in historically redlined communities. We focus on growing Black business owners in Kansas City through grant funding and comprehensive support.

Impact by the Numbers:

Fundraising: Over $7 million since May 2020
Business Grants: $2 million distributed
Wrap-Around Services: Over $3 million spent on services
Jobs Created: Over 135 new positions

Commitment to Change: Every day, I'm privileged to drive efforts that foster economic equity. My role involves strategic fundraising, program development, and team management to ensure we're not just dreaming of a better future—we're creating it.

Other Ventures

In late 2020 I combined my love of comics with my passion for racial equity and launched a comic book company called Darkmoon Comics, with the purpose of increasing Black representation in comics and manga.

After publishing 9 comics in 3 years I have expanded that vision to focus on visual forms of fantasy and Sci-Fi by beginning to develop a streaming app called Blerd TV. It is the Netflix of Black Anime. This launched as a YouTube channel, gaining over 3,000 subscribers in the first month.
